♦ What is flexible PCB

​​Flexible PCB (FPC)​​, also called "soft board", is a bendable circuit board made of flexible insulating material (e.g., polyimide), enabling compact, foldable designs in electronics.

♦ Features of flexible PCB

• Physical properties: can be bent and folded freely to adapt to complex spatial layout; uses polyimide (PI) or PET flexible dielectric layer (thickness 12-125μm), the thicker the thickness, the stronger the rigidity; the insulating substrate is covered on the conductive layer, which has both support and protection functions.
• Electrical properties: excellent electrical performance, supporting miniaturization and high-density circuit design.
• Other advantages: good heat dissipation, easy welding, soft and hard combination design to improve component load-bearing capacity; save space, reduce weight, and the insulating film protection design prolongs life.
